...the Dyna was a two doors sedan with an 850 cc., two cylinders, air cooled boxer motor capable of making it fly up to 150 Km/h, in a time when the average maximum speed of a family sedan powered by an 1.300 cc., 4 cylinders, water cooled engine was no more than 135 km/h.

UPDATED: On second thought (what the heck, it really was a LONG time ago...) the car of my friend's dad was a four door sedan PL17 (that came just after the Dyna Z) and it must have been the "Tigre" version for sure, because its maximum speed of more than 145 Km/h is fire printed in my memory forever. All the rest stands.

I know this from my direct experience, because the Doctor dad of an high school friend of mine had one that he couldn't abandon, because it was light, fast and gas saving. We made many trips on that car and we abundantly exceeded many times the official maximum speed of 145 Km/h, that in those times it was not a little issue. All aluminum body and an incredible engine, if ever was one.

Yep. It's a car I quite like, but since I post it relatively often, I thought I'd post some of the others for a change, and if someone were to post the Dyna Z or Dyna X, well, it would fit in perfectly, wouldn't it?

I'm quite a fan of this car too, though I've sadly never seen one in real life.

I love Panhards. The Tigre is a heck of a rare car. Did your friend's have the tiger interior?

The only one I've seen in the flesh was in the rust, mouldering away in the stash of chronic "I'm gonna restore that car" hoarders. And that one was a Tigre - I recall the badges on it.
